Tamarack Lodge Resort 
Built in 1924, Tamarack lodge is located on the shores of Twin Lakes. Tamarack Lodge offers 11 Lodge rooms, and 34 cabins. All cabins are convenient to cross-country ski trails, and are ski-in/ski-out. Relax in this historic Mountain Lodge with a warm cup of freshly brewed coffee or a warm mulled wine. Guests can enjoy an intimate and unique dinner of French Cuisine at Lakefront Restaurant (advance rservations are required). Step right out your front door for easy access to Twin Lakes, one of the many located near the resort. In winter, guests have access to Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center and the world-class groomed trails, including beautiful scenery, and an Olympic medalist who serves as instructor and guide. Relax and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. In summer, Tamarack offers rowboats, canoe rentals, and some of the best fishing in the eastern sierra. Distance to Canyon Lodge is approximately 3 miles. All Cabins have phones, and basic kitchens equipped with dishes, pots and pans, private bathrooms, daily housekeeping, alarm clocks, and coffee makers. All Lodge Rooms have phones, either private or shared baths, daily housekeeping, alarm clocks, and central heating. Please note the updated Pet Policy: Pets are welcome for a fee, in Cabins only. Pet fee is 30 per pet, per night. Sorry, no pets allowed in Lodge rooms.
